WATER SHUT OFF TONIGHT, 1/24 FOLLOWED BY A BOIL WATER ADVISOR

TONIGHT, 1/24: TOWNWIDE WATER SHUT OFF BEGINNING AT 8 PM. Exmore Crews will be working to make repairs to the water system TONIGHT Wednesday 1/24. BE PREPARED. A boil water advisory will be issued once the water is turned back on. This is mandated by the state of Virginia Health Dept. and does not necessarily mean anything is wrong, but it is important that you comply. See below for more details. Also, during the repairs, Main Street will be closed from Tru Blu to Cathey Avenue. Please plan accordingly. And a thank you to the Town's utility crew for working at night in order to minimize inconvenience to you. As always, the repairs will be executed as quickly as possible. Please remember to BOIL WATER of use bottled water until farther notice ONCE THE WATER IS TURNED BACK ON.
