As of Friday afternoon (1/26), Exmore folks can expect and should prepare for another day of using bottled water or boiling tap water for one minute for all tasks relating to eating, drinking, food prep and personal hygiene (brushing teeth, washing hands & face). Your Town officials are doing all they can to expedite this, so please continue to be patient. We know first-hand this is not easy, but it is a necessity mandated by Virginia Department of Health to protect public health and safety. Your Mayor, Town Manager, Town Council Members and other admin staff are boiling their water too. The good news is this is in your best interest and is a temporary measure for long-term benefits.
