A commemorative resolution honoring the late T. Bradley Doughty was presented to Mr. Doughty's son Kevin by Exmore Mayor Doulas Greer during the March 5 meeting of the Exmore Town Council. The resolution, unanimously passed by the council, recognizes Doughty's longtime, devoted service to the community. He severed as an active Town Council member for 14 years, helping steer the Town through some of its toughest challenges, including the new, upgraded water facilities and the new wastewater system. Councilman Doughty, who was first elected to the Town Council, passed away on February 5, 2024. He was 79.

In presenting the framed resolution, Mayor Greer expressed his personal thanks for all that the late councilman contributed to Exmore. Mr. Doughty's seat will be filled in a special election scheduled for November.
