About the Event
Kick off at 10 am in the Exmore Town Park with free health screenings and educational information followed by a Unity Parade down Main Street at noon, Paraders march to the Town Park for food, exhibits, games & fun for all with live entertainment by the Bridge Band. This is a ESVA-wide celebration of diversity and cultural heritage, and the oldest known event marking the end of enslavement in the U.S. Come out and participate. Learn about important historical moments while having a great time. The Unity Parade is open to all, so decorate your cars, trucks, boats, bikes and anything you want and join the march down Main Street. Event is free and open to all
